Morgan starred in an informational video Safe Sex for Men and Women on AIDS education and prevention. Morgan donated a portion of her income towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She also serves on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the chief fundraiser for other projects and also gave testimony at a special Congressional panel on AIDS awareness. She sits on the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his place at AIDS occasions. And she co-hosted the AIDS Awareness Special together with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline at least twice, to discuss AIDS. Morgan received the Emmy nomination for her extra episode in Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. This spring, Morgan costarred with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC television. Her summer started by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner and also starred Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Next, she was sent to Luxembourg for the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the show. Morgan was also in the psychological thriller produced for USA Network. The film garnered one of its highest ratings ever.
